Our Business

John and Kim started their wood-working business four years ago. Winters are long in northern Maine and it gave them something to do together during those long, cold,  winter days. 

John started scrolling with a Sears Craftsmen 20" scrollsaw and began making simple items. As the business has grown, John has bought more tools and equipment. including a new Dewalt scrollsaw which has improved the quality of our items.

John can take your favorite photo, make it into a pattern, put it to wood and make lasting portraits  of family,  friends and pets, that will last for generations.

John's newest purchase is a lathe and he is really enjoying learning how to use it, making bowls, vases, goblets, pens, and keyrings.

John and Kim both enjoy working together on different projects. John does the scrolling and Kim helps with ideas, the finishing of each item, and the paperwork side of the business.

Who We Are

John and Kim are both paramedics with a local ambulance service, and John is also a flight medic. Some of the shifts are very busy and can be extremely stressful. For relaxation, John started scrolling, and little by little, his hobby grew into a business. John has always loved working with wood, and now, he can do what he loves and give people enjoyment with what he creates.
